Nepal Advances to Semi-Finals of CAVA Women's National League Volleyball

Kathmandu: Nepal has secured a spot in the semi-finals of the CAVA Women's Nations Volleyball League by defeating the Maldives. In the final group stage match held at the National Sports Council complex in Tripureshwar today, Nepal triumphed over the Maldives in straight sets with scores of 25-8, 25-19, and 25-18.
This victory placed Nepal second in the points table, setting up a semi-final clash with Iran, who finished third. The other semi-final will see India, the league stage topper, compete against Sri Lanka, who secured the fourth position.
The first semi-final between Sri Lanka and India is scheduled for 3:00 pm tomorrow at the same venue, followed by the match between Nepal and Iran at 5:15 pm.
